The main objective of the Technical Assistance Secretariat is to support the food industry in the improvement of the nutritional quality and the safety of their products that are intended for human consumption.

Given the increased awareness of the community about the importance of consuming nutritive healthy and safe products, the food companies are very interested in transmitting the fact to their consumers that their products are free from harmful agents and stress their nutritional attributes beneficial to health.

In addition to its scientific reputation, INTA is recognized in the food industry and in the community as a serious and professional organization concerned for the welfare (well-being) of the Chilean population.
