Nos interesa conocer los mecanismos moleculares responsables de mantener la homeostasis celular y sus perturbaciones que conducen a la patogenia de enfermedades cardiovasculares.  Para lograr este fin, somos capaces de registrar fluctuaciones intracelulares de iones, agentes redox (H2O2, GSH y NOO) y otros metabolitos como glucosa y lactato en células vivas  mediante la introducción de biosensores fluorescente o el uso de sondas químicas.
